Elizabeth Bing (until june 2019)

Elizabeth is a recent graduate of Victoria University of Wellington. Before taking up an internship with the Institute, she tutored Commercial Law and International Business for Victoria University.

 

 

Suiqing (Ching) Zhang (june - december 2020)

Ching is a recent graduate of Victoria University of Wellington with a degree of Bachelor of Laws. She also have a MSc in International Marketing Management from the University of Leeds, UK, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, China.

Ching is interested in contemporary legal issues, in particular environmental issues. She hopes to find practical solutions for the challenges that New Zealand and the small states are facing.

Wen Luo (Vaelyn) (april - june 2020)

Wen Luo (Vaelyn) is a graduate from Victoria University of Wellington. Hailing from Singapore, Wen is interested to explore the challenges small states face in nation-building, in particular island states. Wen is also passionate about human rights, climate change initiatives and blockchain technology. 

 

 

leilani taula (june - december 2020)

Leilani Taula is a Pasifika Law student at Victoria University of Samoan and NZ European descent. She is Co-President of the Pasifika Law Students’ Society (PLSS) 2020 and has worked on a number of projects in that community. In 2019 she and her negotiating partner took out the VUW Negotiation Competition and went on to do the same at the Australasian competitions held in Melbourne. She is interested in Dispute Resolution, Commercial Law and Law in the Pacific Islands.

Jamoy Morrison (JULY 2022 - )

Jamoy is a West Indian born on the paradisiacal island of Antigua. He is a postgraduate student of international trade and investment law and policy at the World Trade Institute in Bern, Switzerland. With a profound interest in law and public policy, he has worked on matters concerning the interface between international economic law and human rights. He is optimistic about the potential of international economic law to help unlock opportunities for all
