ISMS signs Memorandum of Understanding with The British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL)

ISMS is delighted to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The British Institute of Small and Micro States (BIICL)

Through this MoU, ISMS and BIICL have agreed to collaborate on projects and activities of mutual interest in accordance with their respective missions and objectives. They will develop joint research projects, exchange ideas and information on training and law reform initiatives and develop an annual conference focusing on small states.

The MoU was signed by Professor Spyros Maniatis, Director of BIICL and Professor Petra Butler, Director of the Institute for Small and Micro-States on 14th of November at the conference: Small States, International Law and the Realisation of Rights  hosted by Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr in London.

Professor Spyros Maniatis, Director of BIICL said, "We are delighted to have created this link between BIICL and ISMS and look forward to working together on projects in this important area of work."

The British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL) exists to develop and advance the understanding of international and comparative law in the UK and around the world, and to promote the rule of law in national and international affairs. Through our work, we seek to improve decision-making which will help to make the world a better place and have a positive impact on people's daily lives.
